Susan Park - Capturing Moments in Pastel
As the demands of a career and raising a family eased, Susan drew inspiration from her late father's love for pastel portraits and purchased her first set of Sennelier pastels in 2013. The onset of the pandemic ushered in a profound shift in focus, as Susan found purpose in capturing the essence of animals through her artwork. Strengthening connections with hospitals nationwide, she joined hands with fellow artists to create heartwarming portraits of the cherished pets of frontline caregivers battling Covid. These portraits, offered as tokens of gratitude and comfort, decorated the break rooms of countless medical facilities, bringing smiles to many in the midst of such challenging times.
Today, Susan channels her passion for pastel portraiture into a heartfelt endeavor, dedicated to immortalizing cherished memories through personalized portraits crafted from clients' favorite photographs.
