Camping Retreat

FCUCC Camping Food, Fun, & Fellowship!

Make your reservations ASAP for the 2022 Camp-Out because campgrounds fill up fast!
 
We will be gathering at KOA Asheville East to share fellowship and enjoy the fishing lakes and many campground amenities. The resort is located in Swannanoa.
Take Exit 59 on I-40 East to HWY 70.  Drive east to the KOA entrance.

Campground features: 
Lakeside RV and tent sites
Cabins for rent if you do not have a RV or tent
Walking paths
Arcade
Ping pong
Rental bikes 
Paddle boats
Volleyball
Gaga Ball (A kinder version of dodgeball)
Basketball
Corn hole
and a trout stream to fish and play in!

We will be gathering Friday evening for campfire songs and treats. 
On Saturday afternoon and evening there will be a potluck supper and fellowship around a campfire.  Non-campers are welcome to join us for the Saturday activities. 
There is a $5 fee for day visitors which can be paid at the office.

Campsite and cabin reservations need to be made directly through the campground.  Inform them that you are in the First Congregational UCC Asheville group.  We have sites reserved in the D section of the campground.  Fees are:  RV $65/night, Tent site $57/night, Rustic Cabins $113/night.  Make your reservation ASAP since campgrounds fill up quickly.
