Artist Statement:
I'm a violinist and artist living in beautiful North Carolina. In the past few years, I began to explore the visual arts I have always loved. Now I'm painting every day, and employing the same principles I use with my violin; openness, tenacity and positivity.
My subjects represent my deepest joys; music, nature, animals, sometimes creating a combination of them in a work. I see emotion and awareness in the animals I paint and try to capture that with a balance of detail and simplicity. My art comes from my passion for living and enjoying the natural world.
In 2022, my artwork, "Over the Blues", featuring a Highland cow, was selected by Fine Art America to be displayed on a billboard.
