Gay Men's Group The Gay Men’s Group explores spiritual subjects, day-to-day concerns and provides support to each other. We have discussions around the topic of being gay and being Christian and that the two are not mutually exclusive. The group meets the 4th Sunday of each month in Room E-107. No RSVP required, just come and ring the doorbell. Meeting starts at 5 pm and the group goes out to dinner afterwards. Any and all are welcome. For more information contact Ty Moser @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lunch Bunch Most Sundays after church, a group, sometimes big, sometimes not, chooses a restaurant to have a meal together. We try to check out local eateries and we try to give everyone an opportunity to choose a restaurant. Join us! For more information, find Beaver Wyatt(or find an usher or an greeter who can help you find her) after church and ask her where the group will be going. Everyone is welcome!
Stir the Soul Cafe
Who we are: - Winter Women who meet the second Thursday of each month to discuss, discern and concern ourselves with issues of sisterhood and brought together through the study of Celtic Spirituality. This group is open to all ‘mature’ women and ones who recognize the potential of the wisdom-bringers among us. - Another group, the Creative Age-ers, strive to understand aging in a world who does not wish to acknowledge it or embrace it. Creative Aging meets on the fourth Thursday to contemplate what we must learn, offer, and embrace. - The other Thursdays are open to all persons for various activities such as ‘bookless book’ studies, spirited movies, and gentle conversation in our Library.
What we do: We have discussion times for Bible study, Celtic study, Spirituality study, Book study. We have meditation time for Advent, for Lent and ‘Just Because’. We host women’s retreats seasonally, including Women’s Christmas in January. We go on pilgrimage: Iona, Ghost Ranch, New York City. We seek ways to be creative and to live in creative ways.
