More about UCC
Our church is a member congregation of the United Church of Christ (UCC). The UCC was founded in 1957 when four traditions united to become one: Christians, Congregationalists, Evangelical, and Reformed. The formation of the UCC followed the prayer of Jesus for the church – “that they may all be one.”

Recently, the UCC adopted a quotation made famous by comedienne Gracie Allen shortly before her death:

"Never place a period where God has placed a comma."

This quotation is part of the UCC's overall identity statement, which is internationally known as the "God is still speaking" campaign. At FCUCC we believe this quotation is a good reminder that God is vibrant and active in our lives, calling us today and always.
